Right, we reviewed this site back in September 05 and it was a relatively new site with only 5 months under its belt, so I thought it was time the Realm checked back on them and had a look as to what they had been up to.
I have to start by saying that this has to be one of the finest sites, design wise, I have had the pleasure of reviewing. It is built in a lovely pale green scheme and it just looks fantastic. It also works amazingly well with a nice constant navigation bar and all of the videos and picture galleries being set up in a magazine style works well. The homepage showcases the latest updates (video and photo), it also gives you a sneaky peak as to what to expect in tomorrow’s update; as well as lots more little features such as links to the wallpapers, voting system, Backstage Stories and the latest news.
The help and support wasn’t as extensive as I was expecting from a site of this calibre, when I say this I was expecting a fairly in depth FAQ but instead I got a rather small support section only answering very basic questions. Although I do have to say that the site is so well put together I very much doubt you will run across too many problems but it still would have been nice to have seen some more effort put into this section.
Content:
I have got to say, before we go any further, that this site is not like your regular hardcore porn site with cum being sprayed left, right and centre. This site celebrates the beauty of the female form in pictures and video and therefore there is no penetrative sex or even any sexual behaviour at all on this site. It is simply beautiful women posing erotically just for you (and all the other members).
There are now 129 models available to choose from compared to 76 when we last reviewed MC Nudes and all these girls are absolutely pants tighteningly gorgeous. I have to say I have never seen a collection of such beautiful women in one place before.
As well as the regular content you also have the choice of rating each of the models, videos and photosets. One thing that they do on this site is actually use the model ratings to have a model of the month so that you always know where to go to find some great content.
Video Section:
Right, well the videos simply blew me away. You have a choice of 4 different formats, these being: DIVX HDV Quality (1280 x 720), WMV High Quality (448 x 252 with a bit rate of 948 Kbps), MOV High Quality (348 x 216) and iPod Media Quality (320 x 240).
The DIVX HDV Quality videos are just astounding; with that resolution they are already full screen without even having to zoom and they just look brilliant. You really have to see these videos to believe it, and because they are DIVX it means that the file sizes are not stupidly big either.
The videos are well shot and I really wouldn’t call them porn as such, I would consider them to be more art but still with that erotic edge (which is obviously what you want). Each of the videos are 3 – 5 minutes long and this is more than long enough as after a couple of minutes of posing for the camera it does unfortunately get a little boring but it is all down to what you enjoy I suppose.
They have managed to keep the videos fairly interesting with some nice backing music and in some of the videos they employ the use of video effects to keep you watching. If you do get bored of one of the movies then luckily you have another 163 videos to choose from and, considering the obvious time and effort spent over the videos, it is somewhat impressive.
Photo Section:
The same effort that has gone into the videos has also been put into the photos. There are a few choices when it comes to the photo content and these are 600 x 400, 1000 x 664, 3000 x 2000 and 4000 x 2650. This is a great range of sizes with the 4000 x 2650 being absolutely massive and amazing in quality (see preview images on the right).
You are also given the option of downloading the photos in .Zip in either low or high quality, this is the first time that I been presented with an option of .Zip quality and was actually pleased to be given the option. Other options include a slide show option and with each of the photo galleries you also get a few details on the model starring.
