General:
“What a great name for a site” is the first thing that ran through my head when I was asked to review this site. Unfortunately the content of the site does make me feel a little on the dicky side; only because the men starring in the content all look like they should be down the post office drawing their pension. But on with the review we go and let’s see what this site is all about.
The site is designed with a fun cartoon look and the whole site has an element of fun about it. The site uses an extremely bright colour scheme of pinks which, ok it is not going to win the classiest site of the year award, but it does the job. There is no navigation bar to speak of as there are only 3 sections to the site; that are Home, Photos and Videos, so as you can already probably start to tell this is not one of the most in depth sites that I have reviewed.
There is no variety of help provided apart from a cancel subscription link; this immediately puts me off a site and needs to be sorted pronto.
Content:
The women are all pretty fit and the men are not just a cock at the edge of the screen and, in most of Old Farts and Young Tarts’ content, they do tend to feature quite heavily in a lot of it. So it does start to resemble a rather raunchy version of the antiques road show after a while!
The homepage features the latest updates from the video and photo sections and that is about it. I suppose that is all you really need from a basic porn site homepage.
Video Section:
There is a fairly limited library of 46 videos available for you to download; each of these is available to view in Low quality WMV (320 x 240 with a bit rate of 564 kbps), High quality WMV (320 x 240 with a bit rate of 1.07 Mbps) or Full Screen WMV (720 x 540 with a bit rate of 2.17 Mbps). This is actually a fairly good selection of different qualities but I would like to see some different formats available for download.
The videos are split into sections but unfortunately there is no option to download the entire video, which would have been a nice feature to have.
Some of the videos do give you a choice to view the photos from that video, of which I will go into in the next section.
Each of the videos do tend to have a little bit of a basic story line to them but to be honest it is not quite up the standards of Lord of the Rings. The story lines are a little bit pointless and some of them take up half of the first clip; they are really not that important and all that we really want to see is the action. Come on we really do not need to see 5 minutes of Cedric having a pretend stroke before we get to any action now do we.
Photo Section:
There are 49 different photo galleries to choose from which is not an amazing amount compared to some of the bigger sites available to you. Each of the full size photos come in at 900 x 1200 but with no options to change this at all. There are full size image navigation tools available to you but that is the end of it. There is no choice to download any of the galleries in .zip format, nor is there the option to view the images in a slideshow.
