No this isn’t a spoof on the bone collector, it is in fact an adult site on the theme of a woman called Katja who has a fetish for panties who then proceeds to regale you with tales of her adventures. Oh and don’t worry if you don’t like the sounds of Katja there are plans for different characters to be introduced in the future. There are also picture galleries and photo galleries all with, yep you’ve guessed it, a panty theme. Now this site isn’t really my sort of thing but for any of you out of there interested then read on.
The girls on this site are a bit of a mixed bag, but all in all the quality of the girls is pretty good. The site design at first looks is impressive but when you start clicking the links to the galleries it becomes apparent that they have just given the site a glossy front cover and not put much thought into the looks of the main site. It is split into 3 main sections and these are the “Panty Collector Series”, “The Movie Collection”, and “The Picture Collection”. They are all fairly self explanatory with the Panty Collector Series consisting of 10 video episodes and a picture set for each of the episodes.
The navigation of the site is handled by a nav bar with links to each of the sections, which does not look too pretty as it is just a list of html links but it is fairly effective in getting to the content that you want. Each of the episodes has an underlying story to it which is played out in the videos and photos. Unfortunately some of the girls do not speak very good English and having to read subtitles in an adult video really shouldn’t be necessary and no I am not joking.
Now for the online help, well to be honest it is extremely poor and almost non existent. The help consists of an email link and a little blurb with each video telling you that Windows Media Player 10 is required. This is a real let down and needs to be improved on and pretty quickly if this site hopes to attract a decent member base, these days a basic FAQ is the minimum that I think should be offered to the paying members.
Content
The site has a good mix of content with girl on girl, girl solo and some boy on girl. Obviously each of the video/picture sets has the underlying theme of panties involved, even if sometimes the link to the theme is just a pair of knickers on the models head. There are no search tools available, which is a little disappointing, but to get around this the sections are split into sub sections with themes such as “Panty in Pussy” and “Wet Panty”. This allows you to find exactly what you want and does the job but does start to get a little much and really needs to be simplified. Each of the sub sections has a good amount of sets in it and with 30 video and 45 photo subsections there is a hell of a lot of content available to members.
Video Section
The range of themes that are on offer with the underlying panty influence is actually pretty vast. You have the option of both downloading and streaming the videos, but as usual downloading is by far the best option as you can skip the broken English intros and you will not end up having to wait for the movie to buffer every 5 seconds.
Once you have gone through the whole subsection deal you can finally select your movie; this opens up in a new window and you can start to watch some content. This is all a little cumbersome and long winded for my liking and I ended up getting thoroughly confused with which video size and type I had selected and was downloading. Within each window there is a full screen button which acted more like a crash window button, I ended up getting extremely frustrated with the whole damn thing and just sat there wondering why the guys at Panty Collector didn’t just get rid of the whole window thing and just give direct download links from the subsection screens. Once I had calmed down and managed to get some videos downloaded, I realised that some of the content was actually pretty good.
There is a choice of three sizes ranging from 250 x 230 to 450 x 350, and two different file types: Broadband MPG and Modem WMV. This is a fairly good selection of resolutions and file types but a choice for a DVD/Div X quality download would be nice and is offered on a fair few sites nowadays.
Photo Section
As I have already mentioned this section is split into sub sections just like the videos and once again the amount of content on offer is really good. Luckily a little more thought has gone into the design of this section and it was actually pretty easy to navigate my way around. Within each of the photo sets you have the usual .zip download option and a nice little slide show button. Once you have clicked on an image you get a new window with back and next navigation links which did the job perfectly well. But as with the rest of the site it just all looks a little boring and amateurish and just left me feeling as if it had been done on the cheap.
Unfortunately you only get one choice of resolution which could be a little limiting as having a few options is a fairly standard feature on most sites out there at the moment.
