Pure Beauty Mag is a daily online magazine devoted to the female form; it also offers World News articles and any related news from the company itself.
The website is pretty confusing at first glance. There is quite a bit of information on this main page that doesn’t really need to be there, for example foreign exchange rates and a countdown timer to indicate when the next update will occur. I would much rather have less information in favour of an uncluttered cleaner website. I can understand the difficulties in the design and layout of a site with this type and amount of content, but I can’t help feeling there must be an easier way to display everything.
As a member you are able to edit your personal profile which basically allows you to configure your display settings, for example: background colour, default image size and slideshow speed. If you don’t set this up the background rotates colour and you end up with something dodgy like dirty pink or vivid blue that doesn’t work at all well with the classy feel of the site. I don’t know why they just don’t leave the background skin as black, but I suppose it’s a nice little gimmick to able you to personalise your page.
Content
After documenting all of the little niggles I had about design or navigation, once I actually started looking at the content I was blown away. The photography is inspirational. The content is entirely softcore. As far as I am aware, the models only ever go as far as taking their clothes off but Adolf Zika captures the girls in an extremely sensual way. It’s not your average porn that’s for certain. Take a look at the tour to find out if you appreciate this kind of content before deciding upon membership. The tour gives a very good representation of what is on offer as a member. As with all sites I can understand Pure Beauty Mag is not for everyone but I hope that a handful of you will find its sublime photography very stimulating.
The content not only consists of photos and videos but also written articles in the form of interviews, tributes and behind-the-scenes action. All of the content is 100% original and exclusive to Pure Beauty.
Video Section
There are 18 videos in this section. This section is updated every two weeks with one new video. There is an excellent amount of download options for the content. It can be downloaded in a variety of formats and you also get a choice of file size so download will be quick on slower connections if you choose the smaller file. The videos are short; they are all shy of a couple of minutes each. The quality of the higher resolution content is very good but really this content just serves as an accompaniment to the picture sets. The movie clips take you behind the scenes of the photo shoots; they are not independent films.
Picture Galleries
Pure Beauty Magazine has over 300 editions which means there are the same amount of picture galleries. Each picture gallery holds between 20 and 70 pictures each. Each gallery can be viewed in slideshow format at four different resolutions to suit your preference (600px, 1000px, 1800px and 2560). Additionally you can download a zip file containing the complete gallery of pictures in a choice of these four resolutions. The quality of the photo content is excellent.
Updates
The site is updated daily with a new gallery. The video section is updated every two weeks on the 7th and 21st of each month.
